NIKON COOLPIX L840:
I bought this in 2015 just before we left on our one way flight!! I had never owned a camera before so I was so confused as to what one to pick and where to buy it!! I didn’t want to spend too much money because the risk of loosing or damaging it was very high, considering we were going to be travelling for so long! Without going into too much detail, here are my reasons why I loved this camera so much and why it would be the perfect buy, if you have a small budget, are going travelling and don’t know the first thing about cameras lol :).

Why I loved it:
- Disposable batteries- We were constantly on the go when travelling and very rarely got a chance to charge our phones, let alone a camera, so having the option to quickly change batteries was a blessing!
- WIFI- The wifi feature allows you to download the pics you took on the camera, straight to your phone using the NIKON app! No wires, no hassle, It was a dream, especially for uploading to Instagram on the go!
- Zoom- The zoom on this camera is incredible!
- Automatic Settings- This camera features multiple different settings for different scenarios, for example, if you are taking “selfies” there is a beauty setting, if you are photographing landscape or sunsets you simply switch it to landscape/Sunset etc…
- It was so affordable.
- Easy to use!!!

GoPro Hero 4:
Before we left Ireland, we bought a cheaper version of the go pro, however we really did get what we paid for, as the camera kept freezing and failing on us! It was so frustrating and we missed so many incredible shots because of it! So my advice would be to really invest in brands you are familiar with!! GoPro is pretty reliable and your guaranteed the quality in all of your shots!

Approx 460 Eur.
Why we loved it:
- The video quality is incredible.
- It was very light to carry around while travelling.
- Gopro offer a huge range of accessories for all GoPros
- Can be used underwater.
- Shock proof.
- Again, the Wifi feature is incredible it allowed us to upload pictures straight to our phones without wires and meant we could upload to social media on the go!
- The touch screen at the back allowed us to see what images we were taking.

Recently, I purchased a more expensive Sony camera for makeup pics, youtube tutorials etc.. I will upload a new blog post on this particular camera very soon!!
