With the GoPro hero 3, 4 or the new hero 5 , having some of the basic accessories is a must ..
Get yourself a floaty , they come in all shapes and colours but the hand grip ones , I feel are the most convenient ,as you are in full control of the camera. You can also get block floats for the back of the go pro, which are really handy but theres a catch, it blocks the back screen ? So you can’t see what your shooting ?
Selfie sticks , good at the start but I find it kinda bulky . For somebody that does a lot of diving or free diving , having as little baggage on your dive as possible and your hands free at the best of times, I feel is a must.
Note : not all selfie sticks are floatable ..so be sure to check before you buy.
So stick to small and secure ones as seen in the pictures below

The Dome …
Again like all accessories, they come in all shapes , sizes and of course prices … I got mine for about $100 on line , they can average from $60-€120 ..
They are pretty straight forward , you simply attach the GoPro to the back of the dome and away you go ..it takes a little to get used to and these amazing shots don’t come easy , you gotta be patient and have good timing to be able to capture the best of both worlds ..
